Note to any that venture to Vegas...
Jul. 28th, 2006 07:24 pmDon't think that the people at the establishment you are trying to get to will be able to give you meaningful coherent directions. Don't expect any locals to either, because apparently the streets here like to mold into one another or you will see the same street name repeated over and over in very weird, out of the way areas. *sigh*
Also, if you are told that the Deja Vu Nightclubs store is a great place to find stuff, don't believe the naive person who has told you this. They are wrong. It sucks. And it will take you an hour to get there because of the asinine directions you will be given. Plus there is no direct access to the place. None. You have to risk your life in order to get to it. Just stay away.
Also, the people at the Baskin Robbins on Sunset have no idea how to scoop a cone. Luckily, Ray has good reflexes and while driving the car managed to catch her falling ice cream scoop and put it back on the cone. But the person who makes cakes is wonderful!!!! Mmmmm.
The Hard Rock Cafe over on Harmon is a hilarious place to visit, but I recommend not being sober or it will become irritating quickly. Also, don't sit at the bar area. You will not be helped.
Ooo! And there was a street called Polaris! Ray did not understand my excitement with that. *sigh*
