Jun. 27th, 2006 05:42 pmI hate mixed emotions. *growls*
Its nearing the end of the school year, which makes me happy because Vacation! Woohoo! I have nothing I have to do in the month of July. I don't have to wake up early, I don't have to write lesson plans, I don't have to make endless amounts of crafty things for fours to do. It's just so wonderful. Except I know I'll get bored after a bit but I will write and go to Maryland for a week, enjoy the beach, picnic in DC, explore the museums. I really should do the Holocaust one again, and then I'll go to the Art one and look at the pieces and wonder about the new sculptures. Should be fun.
But...I'll miss my kiddos. I've got two more days with them. TWO! And the walls in our room are so bare because they need to take their stuff home and its just so sad. *sigh* Plus I know I'll worry about them. They don't live in a good area (especially not when one of their parents was responsible for a shooting last week) and now they won't have anywhere to go that's safe and stimulating. I almost wish we just kept going but, no, need break. Crave break.
So, now I'm happy, sad, excited, despondent and a whole bunch of other emotions. *sigh*
