Apr. 22nd, 2006 06:46 pmI told myself after Magneto Rex that I was giving up on comics. That I would not ever buy another one because I felt the storylines were going to hell and was really angry with the writers and honestly didn't care enough about the characters anymore.
Well, yeah, so that was all shot to hell. I don't even want to think how much I've spent on comics this month. Let's just say I have all of the graphic novels for Ultimate X-Men except for 6 and 7... *headdesk* Technically, though, Raya bought me 8-13...but that was only because it was the money for Cable and crap...oy!
But, I forgot how much I love them, the interweaving storylines, even if this is a very different universe, which is kind of nice. Almost like a fresh start. Somehow I will find the time to curl up in my bed and read all these new comics. The nice thing is that they're in graphic novels, so its not like I had to go and get a gazillion little comics, the storylines are all nicely put together.
And Magneto is so cruel. *giggles* I love it.
