Raven often hums the song, Happiness is a warm gun. Irene finds it almost endearing, especially when she reminds her lover that it has nothing to do with artillery. Raven laughs, pushing her down onto the bed.
“I know,” she murmurs, hands sliding over the woman’s body.
Irene cannot see the smile spread across Raven’s face but she hears the amusement in her voice. Raven’s breath is against her ear. “And I feel my finger on your trigger.”
Irene can’t help but buck into her lover’s hand.
