Help!

Okay, I need some help.

It's almost summer and as a teacher, I'll have wonderful long days of nothing that I have to do and I would love to read.

The problem is I'm so out of books to read and would love a new series to start.

I'll read almost anything, so please leave a comment with a book, an author, a series, anything that you enjoy and I can try out.

*looks hopeful*

It will be in the YA section of the library, but I loved all four books (and there may be more now, I don't know).

I don't know the author, but the first book is Dealing with Dragons. Intelligent, witty, no-nonsense. Think Lemony Snickett for older kids and set in medieval fantasy world. :)

Thanks, I will definitely have to check that series out and I know someone else who I think will find them enjoyable.

Kushiel's Legacy series, by Jacqueline Carey. Starts with Kushiel's Dart.
My favorite books in the whole wide world.

Merci, shall put on my list. May I ask why they're your favorites? Well, wait, don't answer until after I read them. :D

Or the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton. So you too can lust after Edward, even though the later books in the series are kind of ho-hum.

Also, puts on list. Which ones do you reccommend if the later ones aren't as good?

Is excited to learn who this Edward character is. :D

I'm loving "A Great and Terrible Beauty" by Libba Bray

It's got period costumes, women, magic and intregue.

A series? How about just a book.

Vamped by David Sosnoski (sp?) I haven't read it all yet but its very good so far :)

I want to find Rapture by the same author, and read it first heh.
