Happy Easter to all who celebrate it.
I've discovered that one good thing about not living in Maryland is that I have no reason to be dressed up and forced to participate in Easter Mass with the family. It always amazed me how every other day of the year (well besides Christmas) it was okay that I didn't partake in any Catholic/Baptist/Methodist/whatever-religion-my-mother-decided-to-be-that-week traditions but when it was either of those days I was made to go with the family and sit through whatever mass/congregation we were that year.
But now, I'm free and I can politely say that, no, I did not go to church and no, I have no plans on going to church. Still, can't go into the whole deal with my beliefs with my mother but at least she's gotten over the fact that I will not be attending church every week or on holidays.
Though, I do miss the deviled eggs my grandmother makes. *sigh*
And side note, my baby brother wants to come out here over Memorial Day weekend to see X3 with me. (No, Raya, that does not mean you aren't going as well. :P ) Ah, I miss bringing him to movies.
