I just read X-Men Legacy #229 and whatever the last X-Force number was.

Finally was able to go and buy it today.



I DO NOT CARE ABOUT GAMBIT. Do not care about his time with Poccylips or any of it. And I really hope he doesn't get too too much story time or I'll have to drop this comic cause it hurts to read it. Hurts.

But the Gen X girl in me loves Emplate story. Oh Emplate. He just never changes.

As for X-Force.

RUSTY COLLINS BACK FROM THE DEAD!

Even if it was just one panel. And even if he IS technically still dead.

RUSTY!

And he fought Julian and Nori.

I don't remember what else happened in the comic...but RUSTY!

If only Marvel would say where Skids is now. Sigh.

The Rusty appearance makes me think Skids will show up. Interesting!

I'm hopeful.
They have nearly all the rest of the old New Mutants squad around now. We haven't seen her since she gave Magneto the book...which we also haven't heard much about since then either.
Can't blame you. It's been awful lately.

I think that must have been one of the plots that got dropped when they moved the team to SF and decided to go a different direction with Mags. But theoretically she's still around!

I'm hopeful that because nearly all mutants seem to be heading to Utopia that there will be a mention of her doing so as well. Marvel seems to like to throw her in at random times when they remember that she exists. I have a feeling she's more likely to show up in New Mutants than any of the other titles. Though she has ties to people in nearly every title.
