I honestly do not understand some parents. One of my kiddos was sick today, as in threw up all over the floor (luckily the tile) and when he was brought up to the nurse, I was told that his mom had actually called a little earlier to see if he was alright. RAWR! If you know your child is sick, don't send him to school! Common sense is something people seem to be missing more and more these days.

At least I didnt have to clean the awful stuff. *hugs wonderful custodian* And it meant I got to take the kids outside for an impromptu field day, because if I stayed any longer in that room I was going to throw up.

*sigh* Oh what fun it is to be a teacher...

my mom does daycare, so we get that a TON. DRIVES me up the wall.

I work in a preschool and the other a week before spring break a mother dropped off her three year old son, he was there oh ten minutes when he threw up we called his mom to come get him and she said that's she paying for us to watch him and it's our problem. Some people shouldn't be allowed to have children.
