When sionnain first started getting into the X-men fandom, she mentioned Magneto/Rogue first. We had a mutual enjoyment of Hermione/Voldemort, which is a similar dynamic in many ways, but also different. Particularly because the X-men verse just seems to be so taut with tension far more than the HP fandom. I think it's just the original venue, mostly, but it's intriguing to explore different fandoms, particularly the contrast between movieverse and bookverse. :)
